Response to Anjum, Week 3

After reading through Chapter 8 of our Text. I too have realized how many roles have changed in the workforce. The stereotypical jobs of women have been filling up quicky by men and the sterotypical jobs of men have been filling up quickly by women. Indeed, it shows how anyone regardless of gender can perform a job. Ch. 8 also digs deep intoender roles throughout academics. While long ago, only males were "so-called" capable of being able to study in hard curriculums such as science and math. Today many females are studying in these curriculums as well as receiving honors in them. According to the text on pg. 192,there is a long-standing belief that females innately have less aptitude and ability in math and science. I definitely don't believe so when so many women are mastering such fields and becoming top leaders throughout.
